I come from a Pilates teacher back ground. I always need to work a flexible schedule no matter what I do. Flexibility isn't enough when you have a family of 4 and a strong travel bug!! I also needed a business to fit my flexible schedule. This business is exactly that. So we decided to take our family with the business on a 3 month trip to Australia and South East Asia. I have to pinch myself that this is my reality now. A business that is truly flexible!!

THE PROBLEM THAT LED ME HERE: I am grateful for having had a fulfilling thirty-year career in the not-for-profit sector and being able to make a difference each day. I was earning a reasonable salary but there was limited money left over at the end of the month to build a solid retirement fund. And as a single mother of a sweet baby girl there was not a lot of time to work a second job. I took a hard look at my financial situation and knew I needed to make a change. But with nearing retirement age and wanting to work less but make more I was not sure how I was going to accomplish my financial goals. As they say when you put it out to the universe…the universe answers!
THE LEARNING THAT LED ME TO SUCCESS: I am a lifelong learner. Taking courses and reading books on personal and professional development, mindset, leadership and coaching. I have been fortunate to have many teachers along the way from Pema Chödrön, Brené Brown, Kristin Neff to Martin E.P. Seligman, the master of Positive Psychology to name of few. Being a student of the Flourishing Centre and learning about PERMA-V, a science-based model that stems from positive psychology and is an acronym for six important building blocks: Positivity, Engagement, Relationships, Meaning, Achievement, and Vitality. These practices have enriched my life and given me the tools, guidance and courage to make positive changes both in my personal and professional life.
THE BUSINESS THAT WAS A BOOM: What started as a need to earn more money has developed into my joyful journey, I found my way to this business that I run today, working online I take my business with me wherever I go and I design my work schedule around the things I love to do. I connect with an incredible team from Canada, the U.S., U.K. and Australia/N/Z.
